I’m no expert on Cubans, but I thought it was tasty. The ingredients all seemed fresh. And I liked the thick, baked ham, as opposed to the thinner deli-style ham.
This may just be my preference, but I thought the mustard had a little too much bite. I also thought the inside of the sandwich could have been a little more cohesive; perhaps melting the cheese a little more without charring the bread would help. Lastly, this may be a bit nit-picky, but for texture’s sake, I thought the pickles could have been consistently sliced flatter and more thinly.
Hope that helps. Thanks for the cookie.
Thanks Kieran-it helps. We’re gonna take what you say into consideration and refine a bit. Tasty aint good enuf for us. We want to have an AMAZING Cuban. So check back in next week.
Thanks again!
